Conservation Without Borders

In July 2022 Abi joined Conservation Without Borders on a 4 month expedition. "The Flight of the Osprey"was led by UN Ambassador for migratory species, Sacha Dench. Travelling along the flyway, they took the same journey by land as the Ospreys would fly on their autumn migration. Starting the journey in the Cairngorms in Scotland, they travelled south through the UK, France, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia back into Senegal through into Guinea Bissau to end the expedition in Guinea Conakry.
As part of the media team Abi worked as a camera operator and documentary photographer; filming interviews, documenting the team on their journey, recording audio for BBC radio 4 and collecting stills for media distribution.
The documentary "Flight of the Osprey" is due to be released in summer 2023.

WildlifeTek
The WildlifeTek team work to educate and train students to use technology to help conserve and study wildlife. In 2020 Kayleigh hired me to create her course "Thermal Imaging for Wildlife Applications" in video form in order for students to be able to use a digital version via their website. I have since trained with Kayleigh to operate thermal cameras and join them on their physical courses as a camera assistant and for wildlife surveys. In March 2023 my photos will be in a book Kayleigh is publishing "Thermal Imaging for Wildlife Applications".

I joined varying Forces TV Journalists having the opportunity to travel all across the South of England meeting Journalists on location, to assist in anyway I could. I spent my first day with Forces at the studios in Buckinghamshire.
